Why I Hate To Fly

If they ever need a visual aid for the phrase "wishful thinking", they can use this cartoon:

Having to restrain myself from pointing out things like this is one more reason that flying is more stressful than it was ten years ago.

    That's utterly priceless. And, yeah, the tongue injuries are definitely something we didn't have to deal with ten years ago - I've very nearly bitten through mine a few times trying not to say something that'll get me kicked out of the airport and bunged on a no-fly list.

    Argh.

    It strikes me as far more likely that I or someone I know will be involved in an incident with airport security than that they'll be anywhere near terrorism.
