RIP, Little Fella

Image credit: I Can Has Cheeseburger?.

In addition to Joe Barr, another acquaintance of mine died on Friday. Caramel, my sister's pet rabbit, died of what we can only assume is old age. Caramel loved to be among humans. The more who were around at the time, as long as they weren't really loud or careless where they stepped, the better he seemed to like it. He was so outgoing even visiting cats learned to like him, after he grew tired of intimidating them.

I'll miss ya, little guy.

There are a lot of things biting the dust these days. You're here than you're not. Had a pet cottontail as a kid and it was fun. That is a great picture.

I'd never realized how devoted rabbits could be to people. My sister and nieces loved the little guy.

Saw the picture a while ago. I figured I'd use it for humor someday. It didn't work out that way, though.

Condolences to sis and nieces. Losing a bunny's hard, especially when they're cute, cuddly and members of the family.

Condolences to any surviving pets as well. My dad's cat was devastated when our bunny died - those two loved to play. Happy, happy memories.

There are no surviving pets here. The place seemed full enough with just Caramel and his humans.

Amazing pic Cujo. It made me cry. I have such a soft spot for anything non-human. Glad he lived a long, lovely life. Please pass along my condolences to your sis.
